The Pillars of Hermantown is excited to open its doors to the first residents on Tuesday, February 13th. The staff has been working hard on all the final touches, including training the culinary and care teams, plus making sure all systems are in place for streamlined services at the new senior living community.

Older adults (55+) moving to The Pillars will have choices in luxury senior living apartment sizes and styles as well as personal care services, either now or as they age. Living options at the community include independent living, assisted living, memory care, and stay by day. The Pillars also offers residents several amenities, including a library, spa, wellness center, pub, and rooftop deck, just to name a few. The leadership team plans to welcome new residents over the next few months.

Luxury Senior Living

Nikoletta Bystrzycka, Executive Director of The Pillars of Hermantown said, “We are so excited to begin this journey of providing a healthy, comfortable lifestyle and home for residents of the Hermantown, Duluth, Proctor, Cloquet and surrounding areas. Housing with services for seniors has been in short supply here, and this beautiful new community will fill a need for safety, security and specialized care, as well as social opportunities and activities that stimulate body, mind and soul.”

In addition to preparing apartment homes and many amenity spaces, the culinary team at The Pillars of Hermantown is in the process of creating a menu with regional favorites and locally sourced ingredients. Meals will be served restaurant style, with options for discounted meal packages.

“We are managed by Ebenezer, who has been caring for seniors for over 100 years, and that experience and expertise has really helped us build trust and confidence with both staffing and residents. Everything has been on schedule from the beginning, and we are ready to serve the community with open arms,” said Julie Hudecheck, the Sales & Outreach Director.

Grand Opening Celebration

A public Grand Opening celebration will be held at The Pillars of Hermantown in June 2024.
