This program, originally funded by a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, follows an evidence-based approach to caring for residents with dementia to ensure compassionate and excellent care.
A COMPASSIONATE FOCUS ON CONNECTION
One-on-one connection is at the heart of Memory Care at The Pillars of Prospect Park, where we get to know each resident and their preferred ways of living. Our daily enrichment and intergenerational programming are designed for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, keeping them engaged with activities connected to what ignites their interest most. Our unique community, including on-site student housing and child care, creates a space for meaningful, long-term connections across generations and backgrounds. On a day-to-day basis, we provide physical exercise, stress management and reduction therapies, and cognitive and sensory exercises to all Memory Care residents.
